I think I have found a new love in this species. Blindjaws are an open species by Kiwicide and are totes fun to draw and design.

Mistraits: Duller aura than most Blindjaws, very dark demeanor overall
Story: Basil comes from a large family I may or may not draw (might make them as adopts? thoughts on this?). He loves his family very much, but has always felt like he didn't exactly belong. While other Blindjaws had bright colors as their auras, his was duller...darker...sadder. He was sad, and he could never explain it. He had a good family, lots of friends, and even a somewhat...love interest. Everything in his life was more or less perfect, and still, he had an aching sadness that never truly went away. Being around those with bright auras started to become painful. Seeing all the happy faces, hearing all the laughter, it was too much for him, and he started to pull away into the shadows where he could be alone. Occasionally he would spend times with others who had darker auras, enjoying the neutrality between them. It was with these darker auras that he picked up a few bad habits relating to his depression, and his family worried for him. They often tried to talk to him and help him, but it never seemed to help, and as they persisted, he began to grow irritable, and eventually, he lashed out and hurt the one he loved. After that, Basil ran, afraid of hurting anyone else, and he soon found himself in a whole other world...
